PUPPY CLASSES

Our puppy classes focus on socialization, leadership, and basic commands. Classes are four 1 hour sessions.

Requirements:
• All puppies must be current on their vaccinations including kennel cough prior to attending classes.
• All puppies must be leashed.
• Puppies up to 16 weeks of age may attend the classes.

24-HOUR HOSPITAL CARE

Emergencies can occur at any time. Our doors are open to emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with an on-call veterinarian and experienced staff ready to help your pet. We do have a technician on staff 24 hours a day to monitor patients and answer emergency calls.

BATHING

Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. We also offer nail trimming at an additional price.

BIRDS, REPTILES, RABBITS AND SMALL MAMMALS

Veterinary medicine for exotic pets is growing as the popularity of these animals increase. With better public education in health, nutritional and environmental management, all species have a greater chance for living longer and healthier lives. We employ staff veterinarians who possess experience in the care and treatments of exotics.

BLOOD TRANSFUSION
We maintain a supply of blood for all types of pets in case of emergency. The blood is collected from donor pets that live with their owners, and all blood is carefully screened for disease.

BOARDING

Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care such as brushing and cuddling.

CREMATORIUM

The death of a pet is a very difficult time. This service is provided to give you options for proper care of your deceased pets body. We offer private cremations with full return of ashes in the urn of your choice. As a service to our community we also offer this to our neighboring veterinarians.

DAY CARE

Is your pet unhappy or lonely while you're at work? Give your companion the personal attention he or she deserves throughout the day. We offer the same TLC and playtime offered to our longer-term guests.

DENTAL CARE

Regular professional cleaning is important in maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasonic equipment to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Trained registered technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE

In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our mobile resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered 24 hours a day. In addition, we have a technician on staff 24 hours a day to monitor our critical patients and answer emergency calls.

ENDOSCOPY

High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery.

EQUINE SERVICES

We offer a full line of equine services with emphasis in reproduction, internal medicine, surgery and wellness services. Please see our link to the American Association of Equine Practioners (AAEP).

We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.

IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter packages; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

INTERNAL MEDICINE

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.

ORTHOPEDICS

Orthopedics is one of our special interests that we have devoted extra time into perfecting our skills. We carry a full stock of orthopedic implants to allow our surgeons to perform even the more complicated surgeries with the proper instrumentation.

PAIN MANAGEMENT
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

Hills Science and Perscription Diets as well as Purina, IVD/Royal Canin & Iams pet foods are the brands we recommend and carry as inventory.

RADIOLOGY

Radiology – or X-rays – We offer state-of-the-art digital radiology to help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

SURGERY

We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: board certified surgeons can be contacted for consultation; fully trained veterinary and technical staff to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation and blood pressure monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

ULTRASOUND
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
